Dry season (May–September) Temperatures in the cooler winter months range from 9–24 °C and there is almost no rain. Pre-dawn game drives are crisp and require warm clothing

Green season (October–April) Higher summer temperatures range from 20–40 °C. Rainfall tends to be short and sharp, with exciting electric storms in the afternoon and early evening
