As we continue to respond to the challenges of COVID-19, Elevation Africa Destinations has suspended ground operations until further notice pending to the opening of borders and as well as the announcement from the President of South Africa regarding International Travel and Flights.
We are currently working from home from Monday – Friday, 9 a.m. – 6pmp.m. SA Time and Saturdays from 09am to 12noon SA Time. All booking going forward are being re-scheduled to 2021 subject to availability. We appreciate your understanding during this challenging time and look forward to working with you on your future travel plans.
Flexible Terms & Conditions going forward:
EAD is providing new, more flexible booking policies in order for you to plan your future travel with complete peace of mind. For new bookings made for travel by end of 2020, guests may now change or cancel up to 30 days prior to departure in the event of a COVID-19. Changes up to 2022 can be made subject to availability and a credit is issued towards future travel. Clients will travel at the same rates for the next 12 months. For 2022 please contact your consultant for an estimated increase in rates.
Our suppliers that we work with has established procedures to ensure the regular deep cleaning of its hotels and lodges. Specific measures to protect against Covid-19 will be carried out. This will include the removal and deep cleaning of furniture & hard surfaces in all lodges and hotels. The hotels and Lodges with carpets will disinfected, and steam cleaning before opening. All swimming pools will be Cleaned prior to re-opening. Coronavirus is killed by chlorine, so it is safe to keep outdoor swimming pools operational.
The establishments that we work with ie Hotels/Lodges/Coaches/Activities/Cruises/Trains have put in place a Safety management team that will ensure that all hygiene standards are always maintained going forward.
